Kitten Adoption Process

Submit a Kitten Application
To be considered for adoption, all prospective families must complete a Kitten Application. We review each application carefully to ensure our kittens go to loving forever homes.

Reserve Your Kitten
If your application is approved, you will get access to our available kittens and can place a $1,000 deposit to reserve your perfect Ragdoll.

1How do I adopt a Ragdoll kitten?
To adopt a Ragdoll kitten from Kitten Around Ragdolls, submit a Kitten Application through our website. Once approved, you can reserve your kitten and complete the adoption agreement.
2What age are the kittens available for adoption?
Our Ragdoll kittens are available for adoption between 12–14 weeks of age, ensuring they are healthy, socialized, and ready for their new homes.
3Do you offer a health guarantee for your kittens?
Yes, every Ragdoll kitten from Kitten Around Ragdolls comes with a 1-year genetic health guarantee to provide peace of mind for new families.
4Are deposits refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, but they are applied toward the total adoption fee once your application is approved.
5How do I pay, and what payment methods do you accept?
We accept three payment methods: Zelle (to kiki@kittenaroundragdolls.com, which will show Kitten Around Ragdolls LLC), cash in person at pickup, and a cashier's check made payable to Kitten Around Ragdolls LLC. We do not accept credit cards, personal checks, Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal. A $1,000 deposit reserves your kitten and the $3,500 balance is due before your kitten goes home — a flat $4,500 total per kitten. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable and apply toward the total. Because cash is in person and a cashier's check must arrive first, Zelle is the only method that can secure a deposit remotely.
Zelle limits vary by bank — check yours before sending. Most banks will raise your daily limit if you call them, though some decline requests for pet purchases. If your limit is lower than the amount due, contact me directly at (916) 545-5703 and we'll work out timing that works for your bank — split payments across days, or cash or a cashier's check instead.

6Can I see the kittens before adoption?
You can see our kittens and our home any time — you don't have to ask, and you don't have to wait. We keep a public, standing video record: years of video filmed inside our own home and cattery across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, plus a feature on The Cat Butler, a third-party channel we don't control. Same name, same Sacramento-area location, same phone number everywhere you find us. That's a deeper and more current picture than a single scheduled call could give you.
